What we do

Domestic and small commercial electrical.

Most of our work is older housing stock. Boards that were never designed for the load they are carrying now. We also take on new installs, renovations and fault finding.

  • 01

    Switchboard upgrades

Replacing ceramic fuses and crowded boards with a properly labelled unit, correctly rated breakers and room to add circuits later.

  • 02

    Safety switches & RCDs

Supply and installation of residual current devices, plus testing of what is already fitted so you know it actually trips.

  • 03

    Rewiring & repairs

Partial or full rewires on older homes, replacement of perished cabling, and repairs to work that was not done properly the first time.

  • 04

    Lighting & power

Downlights, outdoor and security lighting, extra power points, and dedicated circuits for appliances that need one.

  • 05

    Renovations & new builds

Rough-in through to fit-off, working to the builder's program and coordinating with the other trades on site.

  • 06

    Fault finding

Tracing nuisance tripping, dead circuits and intermittent faults. The diagnosis first, then a price to fix it.

The usual job

Most boards we pull out are older than the house wiring behind them.

Ceramic fuses, no safety switch, three decades of additions run off whatever was closest. It works right up until it doesn't.

An upgrade is a day's work in most homes. You get a labelled board, individual breakers per circuit, RCD protection, and a written record of what was tested.

How it runs

No surprises on the invoice.

  1. Tell us what's happening

A call or the form. Photos of the board help more than a description, and Matt gets back to you the same day.

  2. Quote in writing

Scope and price before anything starts. If the job changes on site, you hear about it first.

  3. Booked in

A date and an arrival window that suits you. If it can't wait, we come out the same day.

  4. Tested, certified, cleaned up

Circuits tested and a compliance certificate issued. [Confirm certificate wording for your state]
